હજુ કાવ્ય-પરિચય
પ્રસ્તુત ગીતમાં આજ સુધી જે બનતું રહ્યું છે એ હવે પછી બનતું રહેશે, એ ભવિષ્યની ઘટનાઓનું નિરૂપણ કાવ્યરચનામાં કલાત્મક રીતે ગૂંથેલું છે.
તુલસી-ક્યારો અને એને પાણી સિંચવું એ વાતનું અનુસંધાન ભારતીય સંસ્કૃતિની પરંપરા સાથે છે. પવનમાં ભેજ, ટેકરીઓના ઢાળમાં લીલમ, ઋતુઓનો બદલાવ, એની વધામણીમાં પંખીઓનું ગાન, જીવન સાથે જોડાયેલું પ્રજનન, ઉછેર, વિકાસ, મૃત્યુ જેવી સનાતન ઘટનાઓમાં ધબકતું જીવન સ્વાભાવિક રીતે જ ગીતમાં પ્રગટે છે.
કાવ્યની અંતિમ પંક્તિઓમાં હજુ કંઈક નવસર્જનની આશા સાથે ‘તું પકડે પીંછી’ એમ કહીને જીવતરમાં હજુ નવા રંગો ઉમેરાતા રહેશે એ સ્પષ્ટ થયું છે. ગીતની નવીનતા-સભર રચના એ સમગ્ર કાવ્યનું સૌંદર્ય છે.
[In this song the poet has artistically knitted the fact that it will happen in future which has been happening till now.
It is related with the traditional Indian culture to have tulasi plant and water it. Moisture in wind, greenary in the slope of a hill, changing of seasons, songs of birds to welcome them, generating, rearing, developement and death related with life, etc. naturally take place in the song. In the last line of the poem, with hope of new creation.
‘Tu pakad pinchhi’, ‘you hold the brush’ the poet clears that new colours will be added in life. The beauty of the poem lies in novel construction of the poem.]
