The Youth Club of our school had organized a video conference for the students of our school. The subject of the conference was ‘Problems Faced By Teenagers’. Priya Mehta, of standard 10, was the anchor of the conference. Two well-known counsellors, Dr Mayank Trivedi and Dr Vivek Dev guided the teenagers.

Many students took part in the conference. The counsellors gave satisfactory solutions to their problems. Teenagers talked about various s problems like lack of concentration, indecisiveness, lack of self-confidence, relationships with parents and friends, habits and hobbies, etc. I asked Dr Vivek Dev about why so many young teenagers were suffering from stress, tension and depression.

I also asked him why children committed suicides. Dr Dev spoke about the pressures of competition and how to face them. He also spoke about the role of parents and teachers in encouraging students to face competition. It was a very nice conference. Everyone appreciated it.

It was accidentally discovered by two British mountaineers in 1931. It was declared as a National Park in 1982. In 1988, it was included in the World Heritage Site list.
